The 72nd Annual Balter Festival of Golf 2022 is back, bigger and better than ever!
Bookings are still open for all events and we have $20,000 in great prizes! Score a hole in one on the 3rd on Monday – Friday of the Festival to win an Adina watch, thanks to our sponsor Parrys Jewellers.

Apart from our terrific golf competitions, we have so much happening in the Clubhouse during our Festival of Golf week, our focus this year is fun after a few less than fantastic years with Covid.
Sunday 23rd October – Let the fun begin! Visitors will be able to register in the Clubhouse from 11 – 2pm. Then kick off the Festival week with a Sunday Session on the balcony. We are putting the festivity back into the Festival with some great live music on the balcony while our mixed four ball takes place. Once you have finished your round, come and join us for a cold beverage and live music from 2 – 5pm. Members Happy Hour 3 – 5pm.
Monday 24th October – Wear yellow for our Doing it for Jarrod FUNdraiser. Bring your gold coins and wear your brightest yellow, there will be prizes for the best dressed team! All funds raised go towards Jarrod’s Gift – the legacy created by Challenge in honour of Jarrod Lyle, helping kids and their families tackling cancer. Prawn raffles and daily beer and wine specials.
Tuesday 25th October – Typically Tuesday is our Ladies golf fashion sale, but we have amped it up this year! We will have market stalls, ladies golf fashion sale, wine and beer tastings, prawn raffles…come along to grab a bargain and check out some terrific local businesses.
Wednesday 26th October – Ladies 70’s Disco Dinner Night, dress to impress in your fanciest ‘fros and flares. Enjoy a 2 course dinner and start the night right with a complimentary glass of sparkling on arrival. Tickets are $40 and available at Reception.
Thursday 27th October – Men’s Comedy Night – laugh until your sides hurt with comedian Dan Willis. We haven’t forgotten the prawn raffles that everyone loves! Enjoy beer specials and a laugh, the perfect way to end the day. A BBQ lunch will be available on the balcony during the day. You will smell it before you see it!
Friday 28th October – Friday Night Dinner, enjoy a delicious Mexican themed dinner menu and a cheeky cocktail or two with friends. Check out the menu HERE Bookings recommended, call the Lakes Restaurant on 6652 3244 ext 4. Chip off competition during the day to win a $500 watch thanks to our generous sponsors, Parrys Jewellers.
Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th October – This is when it gets serious! Our championship competitions commence so it’s time to get your game face on. Sunday draws will be posted to the website Saturday evening. On Sunday, we will have a BBQ from 3 – 6pm.
Housekeeping – all Festival of Golf information can be found on our website. Head to www.coffsharbourgolfclub.com.au, scroll down and click on the Tournaments box, click Festival of Golf. Competition results will be posted 10am the following day. Alternatively, if you have the app, you have access to leader boards and results as soon as they are available. If visitors would like access to the app, you can join the Club as a house member for $5 (this means you will also enjoy members happy hour!).
