Today is our Ladies’ Foursomes Championships with very special thanks to our major sponsor, The Golf Centre. Matt and his team generously sponsor the Foursomes, the 9-hole Ladies Ambrose AND the Ladybird so they absolutely deserve a very big thank you.
Last year’s Foursomes Champions were Annalese McKee and Carrie Fagan with a score of 121, Annalese at the time was also our Ladies’ Club Champion! Carrie is again playing with Annalese so there is the possibility that we will again have the Ladies’ Champion also being in the winning pair.
Being school holidays, Alex Brett is able to play, partnering with Hayley Butler. A pair to watch??
It’s great to see quite a few of our newer players playing. We also have our current B Grade Ladies’ Champion, Kathy Goodsell-Eagles playing with her Mum, Kit, one of our lovely OBEs.
The Nett A and B Grade Champions, Gayle Jones (playing with Robyn Murray) and Kerry Farmer (playing with Maureen Franklin are also teeing off. Both the Division 1 and Division 2 Nett are events are wide open.
