Safety Reminder – Hazards on the Course

Safety Reminder – Hazards on the Course

Dear Members,

With the recent wet weather, course conditions may be slippery, and some hazard areas may have loose rocks or uneven surfaces. We ask all golfers to take extra care when playing, particularly around hazard areas, to prevent slips, trips, or falls.

Important Safety Guidelines:

– We strongly advise members not to enter hazards due to the risks of slips, trips, and injuries.

Use a ball retriever if your ball lands in a hazard.

– Move cautiously around hazard edges – watch your footing, especially on wet or uneven terrain.

– Check the condition of your footwear to ensure you have appropriate traction heading into winter

– Notify staff if you notice slippery areas, holes or other hazards.

Our green staff regularly inspect the course to maintain safe conditions, but your awareness and care are essential to prevent accidents.

Thank you for helping us keep the course safe for everyone.

Kind regards,
Coffs Harbour Golf Club Team
