Our Div 1 team with one round to go in the 2026 season is sitting in second position. Safety Beach leads on 10.5, Coffs Harbour on 8.5 and Sawtell on 6 points. Last round this weekend 22 March 2026 at Sawtell (8am) against our Coffs Harbour Team. This will see Sawtell needing to win at least 4 matches to overtake our side. Div 1 final will be announced post last round.
Division 2 had their final on 15 March 2026 played at Nambucca Golf Club. The match between Kempsey and Sawtell. The 2026 Pennant was won by Sawtell, sorry I do not have match details however was advised who won.
Division 3, last round was played on the weekend where it sees Frederickton Golf Club go through to the final on group 1, playing against Sawtell in Group 2. Our Coffs White Team came in a valiant 3rd position in Group 1, Coffs Blue in 6th. In Group 2 our Coffs green sides came in also in 6th Position.
Div 3 White Captain Dave Nichols gave the following match report: Unfortunately, another loss 3.5/1.5 but a great finish to a season of some good golf. Thanks to Freddo for putting on a great day, for most of us first time playing there, course was in great condition, nice hot dogs to enjoy and good company. A big thankyou to Ray Lemire and Rob Potts and of course our super sub Geoff Knight for playing for us 2 points to Geoff and George for getting our points. Of course a big thankyou to Pottsy for all the work he did in organising everything!
Division 4 we have seen some success according to the last standings after round 5. Coffs Harbour WHITE have had a great season being led by Captain Rob McIntosh, and it sees them on top of their group 2 with 12.5 points, tipping out Bellingen on 12 points.
Captain McIntosh gave the following match report from Sunday; No one in our team are morning players and showed for the first few holes, due to very heavy Bellingen dew, no traction on the fairways, but as the morning warmed up, we’ll that’s what Bellingen call warming up, we managed to string some good holes amongst us but sadly we didn’t prevail for the we went down 3/2. A run down on the players selected today: Rob McIntosh in the unusual role of leading off, after a torrid battle finally prevailed 3/2, Zack Smith, a see sawing battle, lost on the 18th, 1 down, Doug Galbraith, who is finally understanding match play, had a good 2 up win, Greg Johnston, played a seasoned club champion, gave his all, but couldn’t bridge the gap and went down 6/5, Cameron Terry also had a see sawing game, his strength is coming from behind, but that deserted him and went down 2/1. A good honest effort from the team, and I am not sure that the captain can give himself 3 points, but I shall!! Rob McIntosh 3 points, Doug Galbraith 2 points, Zack Smith, battled fiercely, 1 point. Waiting with baited breath if we made the final.
In Div 4 we have Coffs Green coming home strongly in Group 1, but couldn’t catch Fredo ending the season in 2nd position, Coffs Blue hard all season ending in 6th position. In Group 2, as we know all know Coffs Harbour WHITE 1st and will face off against Sawtell next Sunday 22 March 2026. Possible Venue Kempsey Golf Club according to the draw, time 8.00am – ALL TO BE CONFIRMED.
For all players, let’s try and get around our Div 4 White team, express huge congratulations, and pending the final being set, try and get there and support our team. Let’s bring home the Div 4 PENNANT.
