NSW Lock Down Covid 19 Update

Dear Members,

Following the announcement from the NSW government on the state-wide lockdown, the Club has put in place the following restrictions to ensure the continued safety of our members and the community against Covid19 –
  • Normal Clubhouse operations will be temporarily closed apart from takeaway purchases only for drinks.  Note the kitchen will be closed at this stage
  • Members can enter the Clubhouse to purchase takeaway alcohol.  We ask that you ensure you use QR codes to sign in, that you are wearing your mask, sanitize and social distance.  Contactless payments will be in place.
  • While clubhouse operations must be closed for normal business (except takeaway), Golf NSW has been advised that golf is considered exercise and can continue allow members to play.  Members will need to ensure they continue to abide by Health orders in relation to signing in via QR code, wearing masks when indoors, sanitising and social distancing especially outside the Clubhouse.
  • NSW advises competitions and social play can be conducted in groups of no more than TWO players per group (unless they are from the same household) and only under the club’s COVID-safe plan.
  • New timesheets will be published on the Clubs website for members to book.  Sunday and Monday timesheets will open tonight at 7:30pm.  All other timesheets will open on Monday 16th August 2021 at 12pm.  Please note all current timesheets will be removed for the week.
  • Members are advised to turn up no more than 20 minutes prior to tee off and to leave immediately after their game has concluded.
  • The Proshop will be open to process competition payments (tap and go only), however must cease other retail functions.
  • With the restricted timeslots the Club will be open to play for members only
  • NSW advises that clubs should adopt a one player per cart rule until further notice.  Members are asked to wipe down carts before and after use.  Disinfectant and cloths are supplied outside the pro shop.
  • Advice from Golf NSW states you can travel within your LGA or travel into a neighbouring LGA if its within 5km of your home.

Limited Time slots:  The Club Captain will oversee time sheets and their allocation. To ensure fairness to all members the number of rounds per week per member may be restricted due the limited spots available. Also, on a Saturday, non-working members are encouraged to play during the week, with competitions being held every day.

We thank members for their understanding and assistance in adopting these new processes.  More information will come out in tomorrow relating to timesheets and play.
