Men’s Club Championships Update after Round 2 – Proudly Sponsored by Brown and Hurley
The 2019 Club Championships second round was played on Saturday with the course in much better shape than the first round.
In A Grade Jack Pountney continues to lead with a two round total of 140. Dan Swain has moved to second with a total of 148 with David Rook one shot back on 149. In the A Grade nett event Michael Cunningham leads after two rounds with a total of 142. Second one shot back is Alex Fiore and Mick Galloway who are both on 143.
In B Grade Adam Boys continues to lead with a score of 165, with James Rowe one shot back on 166. Third on 168 is Greg McCarthy. In the B Grade nett event the same three players are at or near the lead with Adam Boys on 142, Greg McCarthy on 143 and James Rowe on 144.
In C Grade Kev Forster has jumped to the lead on 177 with Shane Gourley one shot back on 178. Third is Danny Smith on 179. In the C Grade nett event Kev Forster leads with 137 closely followed by Shane Gourley on 138. In equal third place are Lochie Squires and Chris Saeck on 140.
The Championships will continue with Round 3 next Saturday and Round 4 on Sunday.With two rounds remaining there is still plenty of time for positions to change.
