It is with sadness we advise our members of the passing of Owen Pitman.
Owen was a member of Coffs Harbour Golf Club, receiving his 50 years of recognition in 2017.
Owen served as Club Captain in 1968 and 1969.
In the late 60s and early 70s Owen served on many committees including:
Pro Tournament Committee – 5 years
Match Committee – 2 years
Handicap Committee – 2 years
Social Committee – 1 year
The above is only a small reflection of the committees Owen served on, he was an invaluable member of the Club and will be missed.
Our thoughts are with Owen’s family and friends at this sad time.
