
Let us introduce our newest Chef that has joined the team at the Coffs Harbour Golf Club – Coen Lloyd Gray!
You might not know this but Coen has been working hard behind the scenes at the Club over the past few months, creating delicious dishes and menus with Gerry. You would have already had one of Coen’s dishes, especially if you’ve enjoyed a curry!
We sat down with Coen and asked him to introduce himself …
Where have you worked before joining the team at the Coffs Harbour Golf Club?

What is your favourite food to cook and why?
Seafood as my father was a fisherman and we lived by the Forster – Tuncurry Coast

Chimichanga
What is your best cooking tip for our members?
Taste your food before serving!
What is your signature dish?
Various Curries AKA Curry Master
What is the best piece of advice you have learnt from Gerry?
I have learnt most of my chef techniques from Gerry! But he always says turn up to work, be organised and be prepared.
You only have 3 ingredients that you can cook with for the rest of your life, what are they?
Lamb, potatoes and rosemary
What is your favourite special occasion to cook for?
Weddings – in a few weeks I will be catering for a family friend’s wedding!
