Junior Rising Stars

Three of our juniors attended the event the Jack Newton sanctioned tournament held over 2 days at Ballina Golf Club.  Billy Flanagan, Harry McMillan and Keona Sykes all played and represented the club well.  

Conditions were testing over both days with a bit of wind and a few storms on the Monday making sure all players got the full experience of tournament golf.  While no trophies were collected by our three representatives, Billy finished in the top half of the field for the boys championship in 34th position, he also managed a 4th place in the net section after a great second round.  Harry and Keona finished 46th and 31st respectively.  

Focus now turns to the next Jack Newton event which will be held at Kew Golf & Country Club on 18 & 19 May.
