IMPORTANT NOTICE – COVID Update –  Roadmap for easing COVID-19 Restrictions

The NSW Government has released their “Roadmap for easing COVID-19 Restrictions” and have issued, through Golf NSW, guidelines that the Club must now follow.

These restrictions are expected to be in place for both the Clubhouse and Golf until the 1st December 2021 when the population hits 90% vaccination rates and we expect easing of restrictions.

Regional areas like Coffs Harbour have many members that have had their first “jab” but are awaiting their second “jab”, and of course some members will remain unvaccinated, so the implementations of these regulations is difficult.

We encourage everyone who has been fully vaccinated, or expects to be in the near future, to supply that information to the office at their earliest convenience, and the Club sends a “big thanks” to those members who have already done so.

So at this time we would like to advise the following changes:

Timesheets Closed

Members will notice that we have closed all the timesheets while we make changes to ensure all our members have access to competitions and social play. Moving forward the following changes will be made for our competition and social timesheets

Competition Play

The Club is setting up the timesheets that will allow you to play in either twos or fours.  Those members that are fully vaccinated will be able to play in fours only. Those members who are not fully vaccinated or choosing not to get vaccinated will only able to play in the competitions with twos. This is to ensure we can give access to as many members as we can through this time.

For those members who have given us their full vaccination status you will be able to book into and play in those competitions that are set up in fours.  If you find that you cannot book into these timesheets it is because we do not have a full vaccinated status (2 jabs) recorded for you. If you have had both vaccinations then please email reception@coffsharbourgolfclub.com.au or call into the office.

For those members that we do not have a vaccination status recorded, you will be able to book into those competitions set up as twos.

Existing Bookings

For those members already booked into competitions next week you will remain in the competition however your times may change slightly to accommodate the changes.  The exception to this is the timesheet for Saturday 16th October

Saturday 16th October

This timesheet has been closed and will be deleted. A new timesheet will be opened Monday  11th October at 6pm for ladies competition sheet and 6:30pm for the men’s competition sheet.

All other timesheets will open next week and we will note on the timesheet what date and time they open to ensure all members have an opportunity to book.

Social Play

Social play will be open to members and visitors, we ask that members abide by the regulations that require only those fully vaccinated to be able to play in threes or fours.  If you are playing with an unvaccinated player or partially vaccinated player you will need to play in a group of two.
