GUR Local Rule
There has been some confusion relating to when Bunkers are GUR and whether it is a compulsory drop.
Generally areas marked as GUR are because of the condition of the area. To avoid any further confusion we have introduced a Local Rule that all areas, including bunkers, that are marked as GUR are to be treated as No Play Zones requiring a compulsory drop under rule 16.1.
Free relief must be taken from the interference by the NO PLAY ZONE under Rule 16.1f. It is Compulsory to drop away from these areas without penalty at the nearest point of complete relief.
