Golf Update
Members wanting to book visitors in for golf
Members should now be aware that they are able to book visitors into competitions. You will need the visitors golf link number to enter into the timeslot to book. Please note some time slots will be restricted during busy winter months so members don’t miss out including Ladies Saturdays.
Buggy Reminder
Members are reminded not to pull their buggies across the green. The reason for this is due to the fact that they are bringing foreign grasses onto the green.
Membership Renewal
We remind our members that memberships are due for renewal by Thursday 28th February. Please come and visit us at Reception between 10am – 5pm, or call us to pay your membership over the phone. If you have already paid your membership, please disregard this message.
Update on Chipping Area
Work has been completed on the extension of our chipping area, the green has been doubled in size to accommodate more play and access for our members. The green has been planted with 328 stolen and should be back in play in 6/8 weeks depending on growth. As you can see we have installed a new bunker without the usual sand face, this will ensure that the bunker will be easier to maintain by the green staff. The sand face style bunkers are difficult to maintain during heavy rain events with the sand washing from the face contaminating the bunker with silt, but the grass face will still provide a challenging chip to different parts of the green which we never had before. With the upgrade to the driving range later in the year, this will provide our members with a incredible practice facility once completed. We have included some photos below.
