We had to postpone our #Doingitforjarrod day earlier this year and have rescheduled it for this Saturday 4th December.
Jarrod Lyle was one of Australia’s most admired golfers and courageously battled cancer 3 times in his life. Jarrod worked closely with Challenge, a not-for-profit organisation that provides daily support for children and families living with cancer. Following Jarrod’s death in August 2018, Challenge created the #DoingItForJarrod campaign to honour Jarrod and continue his tireless work and legacy while raising funds for Jarrod’s Gift. Jarrod’s Gift aims to continue Jarrod’s work of advocating, understanding and raising awareness to support kids travelling a similar journey to his own.
This year holds significant importance as it would have been Jarrod’s 40th Birthday. We encourage members to wear yellow on Saturday 4th December.
