Firstly the Board wishes to thank all of our staff and members for their continuing efforts at abiding by the COVID 19 conditions. 2020 was a very trying year and the efforts by all to implement the COVID 19 safety measures and keep us all safe has been greatly appreciated. We know it has been frustrating at times but our members have gone above and beyond in helping us, especially during a time of constant change. Please know it has not gone unnoticed and is greatly appreciated.
At this time there are currently no hot spots in NSW however the Covid Committee is still concerned about Greater Sydney which has orange zones of known COVID 19 case locations. As such below is a summary on the conditions of entry for Clubhouse and Course:
Course
All players must sign in via the Service NSW QR code before playing on course.
No restrictions on persons playing on course unless they:
- come from a known hotspot or known COVID case location (listed on NSW Government website)
- present with COVID symptoms
Clubhouse
All members and visitors must sign in via the Service NSW QR code when entering the Clubhouse.
Note: Visitors from Greater Sydney will continue to be excluded from entering the Clubhouse unless visitors have been in Coffs Harbour for 14 days or more and show no symptoms OR have been in Coffs Harbour for a minimum of 3 days, have no symptoms and have been COVID tested, showing a negative result to be permitted into the Clubhouse.
Members travelling to Greater Sydney
Members will be advised not to visit Greater Sydney, or any known hotspot areas. Should they visit these areas they will be required to isolate from the Club for 14 days OR have a COVID test 3 days after returning from the area and show a negative result before presenting to the Clubhouse. Members transiting through the Sydney airport or petrol stations will be able to so without isolating providing they take precautions such as wearing masks and hand sanitizing.
NTP’s
Starting from the 6th February 2021 the Club will be reintroducing NTP’s and presentations to our competition golf. Rakes and ball washers will be reintroduced from the 22nd February providing there is no change to the COVID situation.
