We have some members who are retrieving their ball from the hole using the toe of the putter. This causes damage to the hole and green (see photo below from last Thursday).
This was noted on several holes by other members.
Can you please refrain from doing this and pick the ball out with your hands. If you cannot bend down to get the ball either get someone else in the group to do it or get a retriever that attaches to the putter handle to pick it up.
If you leave the flag in when retrieving your ball make sure you do not damage the hole while doing this (some of us have large hands that don’t fit properly).
Perhaps remove the flag while retrieving the ball to avoid damage.
