Cooper Holman – Another Coffs Junior star in the making
Cooper is our youngest active member at 7 years of age. Cooper has been playing in the US Kids Golf series held in Australia in the age 7 competition for the 2020 season and has performed remarkably well.
Cooper had his Tour Championship at Stonecutters Ridge on Sunday 17th January and he won the whole day. He shot an amazing 1 under par 35, he won by 9 shots and scored the lowest for the day out of all age divisions. He drove 4 of the par 4’s with his longest drive 180 metres. Each season has 6 events and unfortunately, Cooper missed the first event which meant Cooper came 2nd overall for the season which is a great effort for his first season. He ended up with 2 x 1st Place and 3 x 2nd Place.
The next season starts on February 21 and Cooper is raring to go. Also, because Cooper did so well, he has received an invitation to the Australian Junior Age Division Golf Championship held at Royal Pines Monday 5th – Thursday 8th April and the Australia Masters held at Crowne Hunter Valley on April 15 & 16.
