Congratulations Cooper! Cooper travelled to Port Macquarie on Friday for the Jack Newton North Coast Junior Masters – a 36-hole event. In some of the muddiest conditions ever experienced Cooper played really well with a 79 (Rd 1) and 84 (Rd 2) to take out 2nd Place and win his first JNJG trophy playing full course in the Boys 11 Division. He turned the last 9 with a 2 shot lead but nerves got the better of him and Blake, (who turns 12 years old next month) managed to take the win.
The Club is very proud of Cooper’s effort under very tough conditions. Next time you see Cooper practising at the Club, give him a high five for his terrific efforts!
