In the wake of the incident at Bondi Beach, Lifeblood is transferring blood products from multiple states to support the need in NSW. When tragic events occur, donating blood is one way to help people. Lifeblood has experienced a large demand for O Negative red cells from hospitals as well as an increased demand for platelets and fresh frozen plasma as people are progressing to surgery.
