Men’s Pennant Round 2 Results & Draw Round 3 – 15 Feb 2026

On Sunday our male pennant teams travelling to Macksville for Div 2, where Green and Blue faced off.  This saw both sides coming away with a drawn match.  Macksville gave great hospitality for such a small club, with famous meat pies for all players and a cold drink at the end.

Div 3, saw Coffs Blue, Green and White travel to Bellingen.  Coffs Blue played Kempsey1 coming away with a narrow loss 3 to 2.  Captain Mat Quirk gave the following report:     The number 1 golfers went off first with the other division 3 teams number 1 match with Corey de Silva squaring his match after being 2 down after the first 2 holes and fighting back almost winning his match after just missing a short putt.  Mat Quirk had a tight match after being up most the round only to find himself 1 down going into the last. After a pour couple of holes he fought back to square his match winning the final hole.  Chris Saeck was unlucky all day with so many putts just missing and put up a strong fight going down 4 & 3. Richard Elford fought back after being 5 down at one stage to go down 2 & 1. Pop Johnson had a sensational round at his former home course, being one over when his match finished winning 5 & 4. Close but no cigar today!

Div 3 Coffs White played Frederickton and came crashing to earth with a 5 nil loss.  Report from Captain Dave Nicholls wanted to thank Bello Golf Club for a great presentation of the course and even better providing a Sausage Sandwich and cold beer at the end of round for all players.. 

Div 3 Green went down to Belliingen 2 4.5 to .5.

In Div 4 Coffs Blue played against Safety Beach, and Coffs Green playing against Dorrigo, both at Sawtell. Coffs Div 4 Green Captain Dean Press gave the following report for his win against Dorrigo:  Dave Sams made his debut in Pennant for Coffs Harbour with his first ever win, 2&1, well done Dave. Mark Davidson and Dean Press both coming away with wins and our second debutant, Roberto RIVAS also notched up his first ever win representing our magnificent club.  Both Dave and Roberto, congratulations and big things into the future for you both.

Div 1:  Coffs Harbour BYE 5 points.

Div 2:   Coffs Harbour Green and Coffs Harbour Blue had a drawn match 2.5 each at Macksville

Div 3:   Coffs Harbour Blue were defeated by Kempsey 1, 3 to 2.

            Coffs Harbour Green lost to Bellingen 2 4.5 to .5

            Coffs Harbour White were defeated by Fredo 5 to nil.

Div 4:   Coffs Harbour Blue were defeated by Safety Beach 4-1

            Coffs Harbour Green defeated Dorrigo at Sawtell 3.5 – 1.5

Through the week when Golf Genius has been updated with scores as some clubs are not entering teams and or are having trouble, we will provide a progress score update per division and group.
