Tulsi Memorial Golf Day – Christmas Bling Theme
Hi Members,
The last Jack and Jill is sponsored by A2Y Support Services, Adam and Anita Young.
Please see some information on the day below and why it is such an important day –
Dear Friends,
In late October 2006, our beloved niece Tulasi Atkinson (pronounced Tulsi) lost her brave battle with childhood cancer at just 19 years old. Tulsi was a vibrant young woman with an infectious love of life, taken far too soon by this devastating disease.
During her treatment, Ronald McDonald House in Randwick provided invaluable support to her parents—Anita’s brother and sister in-law — who stayed close to the Prince of Wales Hospital to be by Tulsi’s side throughout her journey. Their care came at a time when our family needed it most.
To honor Tulsi’s memory, Anita and I established an annual charity golf day benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities. For many years, we’ve held this event alongside the Tuesday 9 Hole Ladies competition. After missing 2024 due to various circumstances, we’ve decided to reimagine the day as a Sunday Jack & Jill sponsorship event.
Tulsi loved all things sparkly and festive, so this year’s theme celebrates her spirit with Christmas Bling—complete with prizes for best dressed Jack and Jill pairs. Winners will also be added to our perpetual trophy. We’re hopeful this will become a cherished fixture on the Jack & Jill calendar for years to come.
We will be having a major raffle with multiple prizes as a fundraiser for RMHC, Tickets sold on the day and will be drawn at presentation.
We would be delighted if you could join us for a fun day of golf, a meaningful fundraiser, and a celebration of Tulsi’s life.
Warm regards,
Adam Young
