Last week the Ladies held a Farewell Presentation for Life Member, Margaret Holloway. Margaret is moving to Canberra to be closer to her family and will be very much missed at the Club.
Margaret was a valued member and contributed to the success of the Club and ladies golf since she joined in 1984.
She was on many committees including the Board of Directors, the Ladies Committee, the Festival of Golf Committee and was the Ladies Vice President.
Margaret spent 38 years at the Club and has made many friends. The ladies gifted Margaret a photo of the 12th and told some funny stories about how Margaret would measure the young girls skirts to ensure they were an appropriate length when she was Vice President in the 80s.
Margaret, you will be missed and we wish you all the very best for your next chapter.
