Booking Policy for Non-Daylight Saving Period
The Coffs Harbour Golf Club offers members and visitors a number of different competitions throughout the week and on weekends. Due to our growing membership base, we are seeing a growth in entries to these competitions. As such, in non-daylight saving period and during renovations when there are restrictions on course use, we are seeing the competitions filled with some members missing out. The purpose of this policy is to outline the guidelines for when visitors and members’ guests are able to play in competitions. Generally, a visitor/s will either be booked in by the Pro Shop or by a member. Pro Shop staff will often receive bookings from visitors well in advance of the competitions.
Members Guest: A guest is booked into the competition and must play with the member. A member may book up to three guests only into a competition.
Visitor: A player from another club entering a competition generally via the Pro Shop.
Group Booking: Any booking with 8 or more players.
Competitions:
The following competitions will have no restrictions on entering visitors or members’ guests –
- Tuesday 9 hole Ladies and Tuesday Medley
- Wednesday Ladies Competition
- Friday Medley Competition
- Sunday Medley / Jack & Jill
Non Daylight Savings months
- Thursday Men’s Competition: This is a Members only event. Where there are available spaces within 3 days of the competition date (Monday prior) the Pro Shop may book one Member’s Guest with the Member. No group or visitor bookings unless approved by the Captain. Member’s Guests may be booked in prior to this time only with the approval of the Captain.
- Saturday:
Ladies: Member’s Guests can play in the morning but not in the afternoon unless approved by the Ladies Captain. No group bookings available. Visitors can only play with the approval of the Lady Captain.
Men: This is a Members only event. Where there are available spaces within 3 days of the competition date (Wednesday prior) the Pro Shop may book one Member’s Guest with the Member. No group or visitor bookings unless approved by the Captain. Member’s Guests may be booked in prior to this time only with the approval of the Captain.
General Visitor Booking Timeframe
Where there are available spaces for visitors to play and it is within 3 days of the competition date the Pro Shop may book visitors without the express permission of the Captain. The Captain should be informed once the bookings are made.
Match Committee will monitor the booking rules and reserve the right to amend these conditions should the need arise.
