Covid19 Update & Changes to Festival of Golf

Members Travelling to Sydney or COVID-19 Hotspot

Just a reminder to members that if you have travelled to any part of Sydney or any other designated COVID-19 Hotspot you will need to self-isolate for 14 days after your return before attending or playing at the Coffs Harbour Golf Club. Alternatively, a negative COVID test may be used to determine that a member is COVID-free, removing the need for further isolation, providing the test is performed at least 72 hours after returning to Coffs Harbour.

Please note a booking by a member, either in competition or socially, is an explicit declaration that they have not travelled to Sydney or any other hotspot in the last 14 days. This includes transiting through Sydney airport.

Covid 19 Sign In Tablets

The Club has purchased 2 tablets that will be at the main entry of the Club and the entry to the Clubhouse from the Proshop stairs. These are now how members and locals will sign our Covid 19 registers. Alternatively the QR code will still be available and you can sign in by holding your  smartphone camera over the code and clicking on the tab that pops up. A written register will no longer be available so as we comply with Covid 19 procedures for Clubs. Everyone entering the Club MUST sign the Covid register.

Festival of Golf – limited to locals

The Board wishes to let members know that this year unfortunately the Festival of Golf will be limited to members and locals only due to the ongoing COVID concerns. This decision wasn’t taken lightly however it was felt it was in the best interests of the members to protect them and the Club from any possible outbreak. Also this year due to the Clubhouse restrictions on numbers we will not be able to hold any functions. All competitions will go ahead as planned and the course will be in pristine condition again for members to enjoy.

Thank you,
