Covid-19 Update

Some quick updates and great news for members on coming changes

Playing in 4’s

With the easing of restrictions further we are pleased to announce to members that we will be back to groups of 4 from Thursday 4th June 2020. Members are reminded that we will still need to ensure you only turn up 20 minutes prior to game and leave straight afterwards and that we continue to practice social distancing at 1.5m. Carts will remain one person per cart.

Members Guest Open for Social Play

Effective immediately members will now be able to book a guest in for a game of golf in social play. Bookings for guest can be done via the social timesheet and payments for your guests will be via the Pro shop, $25 for 9 holes and $35 for 18 holes. Carts will remain at $20 while we are limited to one per cart. Guests and visitors are still not permitted to play in competitions

Lakes Café / Restaurant Open

The Clubhouse is now open for no more than 10 seated customers wishing to enjoy a meal or catch up with friends. We do advise to book ahead due to the limitations. We are able to sell alcohol to guests but only if it is sold with food. A reminder that takeaway drinks brought over the bar cannot be consumed in the Clubhouse. Today NSW Government announced that from 1st June we will be able to open for 50 patrons dining in the Club with the 4 square metre rule to apply. Next week we will send members more information out regarding these changes.

Pace of Play

With days becoming shorter and larger groups playing it is imperative that we all play in a timely manner and keep up with the group in front. This will enable everyone time to finish before it gets dark. With one tee starts especially a loss of 15 minutes can have a major effect on the field at the end of the day.

On behalf of the Club staff and Board of Directors I would like to thank members for their patience during these difficult times and hope you enjoy the coming changes and greater access to the course and Clubhouse. Stay safe and have a great weekend everyone.
