We are delighted to be able to allow you more access to our course by moving to groups of three this week. All the time sheets including social timesheets have been adjusted and we hope that all our members are now able to access the course each week for a game. The Club is continuing to monitor the situation and ensure we provide a safe environment for our members to play and that we don’t breach any of the new restrictions. To ensure this occurs below are some reminders regarding your golf:
- Turn up no more than 20 minutes before your tee time
- Maintain the 1.5metre social distancing, we have signs and crosses marked in the Clubhouse and Pro Shop to assist with this when you are making purchases
- The Club is not accepting cash so payments are to be cashless transactions, preferable tap and go payments.
- Ensure when you have finished your golf that you leave immediately, if you are getting picked up please make contact with your ride prior to finishing. With larger groups on course now we don’t want to put our golf in jeopardy by have large gatherings around the Clubhouse.
Along with these reminders we will have the following rules and processes in place:
Putting Green – Maximum of 5 people on the practice putting green and a limit of 10 minutes before your game
Scorecards – With the move to three players per group we will be reverting back to players marking their own scorecard. We are however asking that each player in the group marks the score for another player in case there is a discrepancy.
Carts – With the restriction of one person per cart, carts are in very high demand. Members need to book your cart when you are booking your golf to ensure you don’t miss out.
Alcohol on Course / Clubhouse – We remind members of the Club’s by-law regarding the bringing of alcohol onto the course and in the Clubhouse. It is prohibited to bring alcohol onto the Club’s premises, including the golf course. Only alcohol that has been purchased at the Club on the day of attendance may be brought onto the course. Enforcement of the observance of this by-law is empowered by the disciplinary provisions of the Club’s Constitution.
Thanks again for your patience during these difficult times.
