Course Conditions
We have had over 500 ml of rain in the past week and the course is in a very heavy condition. Unless we get any more substantial rain the course will be open.
Where the Conditions of Play have cart movement restricted this is a temporary local rule. If this rule is breached it is a 2 shot penalty for the hole being played.
So, where it is carts on paths at all times you will need to add penalty shots should you deviate from the cart path.
Should you notice a cart off the cart path please advise the player of this rule and report it to the Match Committee to ensure the penalty has been added.
Reverting to original courses
From Saturday 15 February the new 9th green will be open and we will revert to our normal courses. The 24th will revert to a Par 5 and the 19th will have a temporary green until the new green is ready.
With the changes to the 19th we will be rearranging the Men’s Indexes, for East Lakes and West Lakes Courses. If you are playing East Lakes or West Lakes please refer to the card for the indexes applicable to determine where your shots are received.
