Club Championship 2019
The 2019 Club Championships got underway on Saturday in heavy conditions. This event is proudly sponsored by Brown and Hurley.
In A Grade Jack Pountney opened with a fine round of 67 to open up a six shot lead over David Rook who shot 73, with Dan Swain one shot further back on 74.
In B Grade Adam Boys leads after round one with 79. Four shots back with 83 is Mark Norberry, with Greg McCarthy, Terry Kelsey and Alex Geddes a shot further back with 84.
In C Grade Shane Gourley leads the way with 86, followed by Phil Atkin on 88 and Danny Smith on 89.
The Championships will continue with Round 2 next Saturday. With three rounds remaining there is still plenty of time for positions to change.
