Support for the Brindle Family
Many of our members may be aware that Steve Brindle underwent brain surgery at the Royal Northshore Hospital in Sydney on the 12th of November. After the surgery there were complications and Steve had to endure another surgery on the 30th of November to put a shunt in. Since then Steve has had non stop nausea and vomiting, been on the verge of bladder rupture, he has blurred vision and he now has pneumonia. He has a nasal gastric feeding tube and they are scanning the shunt to check for infection. Steve needs to have radiation when he is well enough.
During this time Steve has been in hospital 7 hours away from his family and unable to work, and his wife Andrea has taken a lot of time off work to be with him. It is understandable that this has taken a toll on the Brindle family.
