COVID 19 UPDATE – 30/08/21
GATHERING OUTSIDE THE PROSHOP
We remind members that once you have finished exercising (playing golf) you need to leave the premise. We have seen some members lingering around outside the Proshop enjoying a beer and a chat with friends. While we would all like to be socialising, unfortunately this is in breach of the Public Health Orders and both the Club and the individual could be fined. We do not need to remind members that we are very blessed to be open and able to enjoy our golf game, let’s not ruin this by doing the wrong thing. If you feel like a beer, please take it out on course while you do your exercise.
To avoid gathering around the Proshop, the bar will be closing at 4pm every day and we will have a Covid marshal outside to remind members of the rules.
Should you be getting picked up after your round, please ensure you are organising your lift prior to finishing your round.
We thank you for your cooperation while we navigate lock down, no one likes the current situation so we all need to do the right thing so it is over sooner rather than later.
LOCKER ROOM AND LADIES TOILETS
Exciting news, the new men’s locker room and ladies’ downstairs toilets are expected to be completed next Friday 10th September. The new space looks amazing and we can’t wait for members to see it. If the current lock down is extended, sadly the locker rooms won’t be available until after the lock down lifts however the toilets will be open from Saturday 11th September.
LAKES CAFÉ MENU
The Lakes Café will be opening with a takeaway menu from Tuesday 31st August. The takeaway menu has some great heat and eat options so if you are looking for a way to support local business and not have to cook, we have just the solution. Gerry will be creating authentic, hearty home style dishes that the whole family will love. You can check out the takeaway menu HERE. The Lakes Café will also be open for grab and go options during the day including the pies all our members are raving about!
