Service NSW Covid Safe Check In

Hi Members, there have been some questions regarding the Service NSW Covid Safe Check In.

If you have checked in before your round of golf at the Proshop, you don’t need to check in again to enter the Clubhouse UNLESS you have already checked out.

Scenario 1: Golfer 1 is playing golf  and has scanned the QR code at the Proshop and checked in via the Service NSW Covid Safe Check In before teeing off. Golfer 1 plays really well and decides to celebrate with a beer in the Clubhouse. Golfer 1 does not need to sign in again when entering the Clubhouse as Golfer 1 did the right thing and checked in before his/her round.

Scenario 2: Golfer 2 is playing golf and has scanned the QR code at the Proshop and checked in via the Service NSW Covid Safe Check In before teeing off. Golfer 2 plays terribly and decides to pack it in and go home so she/he opens the Service NSW app and checks out. Golfer 2 meets friends in the car park on the way to the car and they all decide to go and get coffee in the Clubhouse. Golfer 2 must check back in when entering the Clubhouse as she/he has already checked out.

Questions!

Do I really need to check in? 100% YES. You MUST check in via the Service NSW Covid Safe Check In when entering the Club, whether that is to play golf, use the practice facilities, driving range or to dine/drink in the Clubhouse. The NSW Government has made it compulsory that all patrons must check in using the Service NSW Covid Safe Check In when entering into a NSW Covid Safe business. There are big fines for individuals and businesses who are caught not checking.

Do I need to check out? Technically, no, but it does help. While checking out is optional it does help with contact tracing, also if you don’t check out you will remain checked in until you either check back into the Club or check in at other business.
