Driving Range Update
The Couch is showing good growth on the driving range and we are still hoping to open it by Friday the 6th March prior to the Club Championships. As you can see there are still some bare patches that we are working on, but considering the constant rainfall, we are getting there.
The Grass Practice area immediately in front of the undercover bays looks fantastic, but still needs those few weeks to develop a stronger subsurface thatch to better handle the workload. So, we would be pleased if members could appreciate that, and show just a little more patience in keeping off that surface.
The Driving Range itself is just about completed with the new dividers being installed, complete with club holding rings and trays for holding valuables while practicing. It looks fantastic and it won’t be long now, a few weeks and it will be fully operational.
