Over the last few months we have had a number of complaints around the pace of play during competitions with some rounds taking some groups\u00a05 hours!<\/b>\u00a0While we note that the weather and course conditions have been wet, we are asking members to adopt the \u2018Ready Golf\u2019 principles as we look to improve round times and enjoyment for all. Remember that if you save 1-2 minutes per hole it can add up to 20-30 minutes over your round.<\/p>\n
Over the coming month we will be promoting the \u2018Ready Golf\u2019 principles and asking members to take note of their own round times. The Captains will also be monitoring round times during each competition and you may start to receive notifications on your Mi-score app or messages from the Club if your rounds are taking longer than the 4:20mins.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Club has a goal to bring average rounds down to no longer than\u00a04:20mins (2:10mins per 9 holes)<\/b>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
