Australian Women’s Classic 2026<\/h2>\n

Following the enormously successful staging of the 2025 Australian Women\u2019s Classic in March this year, we wish to share an update regarding the future hosting of this event.<\/p>\n

Golf NSW has recently advised the Club that despite the outstanding efforts of our team and volunteers – particularly under the challenging conditions caused by Cyclone Alfred – a decision has been made not to return the tournament to Coffs Harbour in the immediate future. We want to stress that this decision by Golf NSW is not a reflection on the 2025 event, which Golf NSW described as a remarkable achievement under difficult circumstances.<\/p>\n

Golf NSW in their advice outlined three key factors influencing their decision:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Challenges in achieving unique visitor attendance, which impacts the significant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) tied to NSW Government funding<\/li>\n
  2. The need to renegotiate event funding following the recent change in the NSW Government.<\/li>\n
  3. Unpredictable climatic conditions in the Coffs Harbour region during the February\/March period.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    On behalf of the Club, I would like to extend heartfelt thanks to all members, staff, and volunteers who played a role in making the 2025 event such a great success.<\/p>\n
