Sub Juniors

Coffs Harbours Junior program is acclaimed one of the best development programs in the state. Catering for approx 80 junior golfers and having produced over 50 golfers who have joined the professional ranks, as well as State, Australian and International winners.

COMPETITIONS
The club conducts sub-junior competitions on every Saturday morning at 6:30am.
A Grade (AGU H/Cap) Play 18 holoes - cost $7/
B Grade (Cadet H/Cap) play 9 holes - cost $5
C Grade play 6 holes - cost $4

The competition is open to all ages up to 15 years and must be approved by the club professional or the junior coordinator.

Sub juniors with a handicap of 12 or less can play in the Saturdays members monthly medal.
Sub juniors with a handicap of 20 or less can play in the members competition on Thursday during school holidays.
They are also allowed to play in any Sunday members competition.

Sub juniors can play in the Club Championships with the approval of the Club Captain.

CLINICS
Beginners clinics are conducted by the Club Professional / Trainee Professional at 9:30am Saturday mornings - cost $3 (ages 5 and over)
These players are then graded to the sub-junior competition when the club professional thinks fit. Clinics are also run on Wednesday afternoons and School holidays.

TOURNAMENTS
The club runs various tournaments throughout the year. The Paul Sheehan Junior Masters is staged each year on the June long weekend - this tournament also incorporates the North Coast Junior Open and the North Coast Junior Ladies Open and is a JNJGF State Age Qualifying Event.

Club tournaments are the Sub-Junior Championship, Members/Sub-junior Foursomes Championships and the Junior Matchplay Championships.

Coffs Harbour Golf Club has been allocated the Jack Newton State Age Championship for 2012 and 2013. Qualifying events are held throughout the state each year leading up to the state titles.
